The best self-care ideas to make a summer bucket list

Sometimes you deserve a day all to yourself. What better way than to do the things that feed your soul. Summer is officially here. After the brutal winters and the consistent rain from the spring, it is the best feeling to unapologetically do the things you love. When you feel overwhelmed with life give your self relief. Pick and choose the ideas that fit your personality and what you need at that moment. Then plan your whole day around it.

  1. Spend time outdoors going to the beach, lake, or park.
  2. Take a tea break.
  3. Sleep in.
  4. Take swim exercise classes.
  5. Do a digital detox.
  6. Bake and make healthy treats.
  7. Do something creative.
  8. Bathe in essential oils or lovely bath bombs.
  9. Do a face mask.
  10. Steam your face with a steamer or a pot of water with a towel over your head.
  11. Cuddle with your pets or a human.
  12. Stretching.
  13. Clean your environment.
  14. Listen to instrumental music.

Self-care does not have to be done inside. Decompressing is about doing the things you love. You can do them by yourself or with others, but it is about putting your needs first. Life is about giving and it is impossible to give to others without giving to yourself first.
